Welcome to the four of six issues in 2018. This issue consists of six papers. The first paper by Manu and Chandrashekar presents a simulation study of single-stage Lithium Bromide-Water vapour absorption heat pump for chip cooling to reduce the overall energy consumption by large-scale data centres.

The second paper by Cecilia et al. proposes a non-linear programming approach to maximise the cyclone efficiency in particles separation and classification plants and to reduce the overall environmental impact through improved process design.

The third paper in this issue by Holm et al. explores the recovery of copper from small grain-size fractions of municipal solid waste incineration bottom ash using a density separation process which particular targets copper particles with mid density due to the extent and type of their coatings and agglomeration. The next paper by Annika et al. investigates the leaching properties of municipal solid waste incineration bottom ash recovered based on a dry treatment technology called Advanced Dry Recovery (ADR).

The fifth paper by Varma et al. examines the removal of heavy metal and other pollutants from wastewater using a specially developed biocomposite material to test the enhancement in adsorption using layers of non-woven geotextile material.

This issue concludes with a paper by Matalkah et al. that presents formulations for developing hydraulic cements based on alkali aluminosilicate chemistry using waste brick or impounded coal ash at relatively large volume as aluminosilicate precursors.
