Galactorrhea may be the only symptom of a serious central nervous system lesion and should always be investigated. It can easily be overlooked, particularly when there is no history of menstrual disturbance. The authors report three patients who were seen for annual examination and were found to have galactorrhea and significant pituitary disease.
