ABSTRACT
Dental implant placement with immediate provisionalization is a wellestablished protocol with excellent success rates. Immediate provisionalization after dental implant placement is a very convenient treatment modality for the patient, especially in the esthetic zone, since removable provisionalization modalities can be avoided and the gingival architecture can also be re-established more predictably. This case report describes the use of CAD/CAM technology to facilitate the manufacture of an immediate provisional for a dental implant.
