Abstract
Slubbings ranging from a long coarse rug wool to a short mungo blend and from all-wool to blends of wool and man-made fibres were tested for tensile behaviour on a single spindle–drafting apparatus. Some tests were also done on waste silk and waste cotton and cotton and worsted rovings.
