Analysis of Acylglycerols and Methyl Esters of Fatty Acids in Vegetable Oils and in Biodiesel Critical Reviews in Analytical Chemistry

Abstract

Chromatographic techniques are compared with respect to their suitability for the analysis of acylglyerols and methyl esters of fatty acids. The identification of the individual compounds using high-performance liquid chromatography—mass spectrometry (HPLC/MS) with the atmospheric pressure chemical ioniza-tion (APCI) is discussed.
