1. “Reality” in the field of interiors is often understood to mean our physical surroundings, but these days this also means the inhabitation of virtual realities. For this purpose, let’s include both kinds of realities.
2. AfterTaste, an annual Interior Design symposium at Parsons School of Design from 2007 to 2015, explores the expansive boundaries of Interior Design and Interior Experience. AfterTaste was established as a research platform for creating a curriculum for the MFA Interior Design program at Parsons School of Design launched in 2009.
