Comments on Archaeological Remains at the Monte Verde Site Complex, Chile

, &

ABSTRACT

In a review of the early archaeology of South America, Politis and Prates challenge certain data presented for some early sites. In the process, they misrepresent information presented by original investigators, including us for the Monte Verde and Chinchihuapi sites in Chile. We respond to their critique and correct several errors made by these authors.
