Anwendung des COPM in einer deutschen psychiatrischen Klinik (Use of the COPM in a German Mental Health Facility)

Abstract

Das Canadian Occupational Performance Measure (COPM) wurde in einem deutschen psychiatrischen Krankenhaus angewandt, um einen Verordnungsbogen, der betätigungsorientierte Therapieziele enthält, zu entwickeln. Es wurden 11 Patienten aus zwei arbeitstherapeutischen Gruppen mit dem COPM befragt. Aus den Ergebnissen der Befragung wurde ein Verordnungsbogen für Ergotherapie erstellt. Die Studie zeigte eine gute Anwendbarkeit des COPM mit hoher Nutzerzufriedenheit, sowohl auf Seiten der Patienten als auch auf Therapeutenseite.

Abstract

To design a referral system, containing occupation-based therapy goals, the Canadian Occupational Performance Measure (COPM) was introduced to a German mental health facility. It was administered to 11 patients attending work therapy. Using the results from these interviews, a referral system for occupational therapy, containing those occupation-based therapy goals was developed. The study showed that the COPM was successfully administered in a German mental health setting as well. Patients and practitioners were satisfied with the COPM and the therapy goals developed with it.
