Pages 28-32 | Published online: 12 Apr 2016

Abstract

Many of our interactions with clients involve teaching. This paper describes how occupational therapy students of the University of the Philippines-Manila, College of Allied Medical Professions prepare for the role of teaching clients. Second year occupational therapy students are provided opportunities to practice creating teaching plans and implementing these for volunteer clients. Learning objectives, content, activities and evaluation of student performance of the unit of instruction are presented.
