Providing Professional Support for Newly Qualified Occupational Therapists in Uganda

Pages 36-40 | Published online: 12 Apr 2016

Abstract

When the newly trained occupational therapists in Uganda started work, they found that the continuing professional support they needed was not available. In response, a project was developed to provide that support, which is described in this article. The author hopes that their experiences and reflections of the project might be helpful for those establishing the profession in other countries.
