1 There are good reasons to include loved-ones and caregivers in both case conceptualization and treatment planning. The patient’s experience and/or insight can be affected in predictable ways directly relevant to diagnosis and treatment. Such circumstances only reinforce the value of PRO which, like all health data, must be interpreted in context.
