Yale Gastroenterology Program: Training Model for Other Specialties?

Pages 131-136 | Published online: 06 Jul 2016

Abstract

From its informal beginnings a decade ago, a program for training young gastroenterologists has gradually expanded into several “rings” of affiliated and allied facilities through which expertise in this field has been made increasingly available to community hospitals and patients throughout the state of Connecticut. The author describes the mix of fellowship and good-fellowship through which this was accomplished.
