Abstract

A 63-year-old man presented with a four-week history of temperatures as high as 38.3°C, dry cough, increasing shortness of breath and difficulty in walking. He had been hospitalized twice in the past six years for treatment of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (mycosis fungoides).
