Dr Gwenda Beed Davey AM is an Honorary Fellow in the Cultural Heritage Centre for Asia and the Pacific, at Deakin University, Melbourne, Australia. She is a co-founder with June Factor of the Australian Children's Folklore Collection at Museum Victoria (Melbourne), which in 2004 was placed on the UNESCO Australia Memory of the World Register.
