Abstract

Due to China's outstanding economic performance in recent years, ‘China Model’ becomes a hot topic. The related debate centers on China's institutional setting. The present essay categorizes critiques on China model, and abstracts the Chinese system in terms of its socio-political and economic institutional setting, with an attempt to systematically illustrate the institutional continuity of the Chinese civilization.
