Abstract

The report details presentations at the tenth annual Global Studies Association conference at the University of Victoria in Canada. Papers cover a wide range of topics including: the political economy of transnational capitalism; environmental challenges; new social movements; the Arab Spring and discussions on universal human rights. Presenters included academics and activists from Canada, the United States, Australia, Mexico, Turkey, Russia and Europe.
