Dear Reader,

This issue of Human Vaccines & Immunotherapeutics starts with a robust Coronavirus section, featuring a review of cytokine-targeting antibodies for treatment of Covid-19 (Johnson, p 2824), a study of mortality in Belgian patients treated with statins, ACE inhibitors, and angiotensin receptor blockers (Byttebier, p 2841), a report on the correlation of mortality due to Covid-19 and that due to influenza and tuberculosis (Pathak, p 2851), a trial of pharmacists’ involvement in the vaccination campaign (Wang, p 2863), a survey of legislator online vaccine engagement before and during the pandemic (Engel-Rebitzer, p 2868), a review of the various Covid-19 vaccine platforms (Verdecia, p 2873), reports on vaccination of health-care workers (HCWs) in China (Yu, p 2894), delays of vaccine uptake in US (Latkin, p 2903), intentions to receive the vaccine among reproductive-age women (Berenson, p 2914), parents’ willingness to pay for the vaccine (Catma, p 2919), willingness to receive the vaccine among Chinese HCWs (Wang, p 2926), vaccine knowledge and attitudes in French HCWs (Verger, p 2934), the effect of vaccine effectiveness and safety on acceptance (Wagner, p 2940), vaccine perceptions in a pediatric hospital in Turkey (Yigit, p 2946), vaccine delivery in Nigeria (Sato, p 2951), and a case of reactive arthritis following vaccination (Qin, p 2954), four commentaries on the need to monitor Guillain-Barre syndrome as a vaccine adverse effect (Leung, p 2957), single-dose vaccination in convalescents (Focosi, p 2959), the need to engage HCWs and academics in social media vaccine debates (Hernandez, p 2962), and an experimental OMV-based platform for Covid-19 vaccine (Gaspar, p 2965), and a Letter to the Editor on insights into the safety of the BNT162b2 vaccine (Gringeri, p 2969).

The Immunotherapy segment includes two reviews of checkpoint inhibitors for pleural mesothelioma (Metro, p 2972) and T-cell receptor-like antibody for the treatment of cervical cancer (Dass, p 2981), and a commentary on RNA-based cancer vaccines (Zhang, p 2995).

Eight articles on Acceptance present a survey of public values in relation to vaccinomics (Gerber, p 2999), a bibliometric analysis of four decades of research on vaccine hesitancy (Jaca, p 3016), interview-based study of parents’ barriers to acceptance of childhood vaccines (Musa, p 3023), a comparison of methods for estimating vaccine coverage (Hu, p 3034), assessment of impact of a vaccine event on parental acceptance (Sun, p 3042), surveys of public perceptions of pharmacists as vaccine administrators (Di Castri, p 3052) and parental attitudes to routine pediatric vaccination in Greece (Gkentzi, p 3066), and a commentary on barriers to vaccination in HCWs (Eltvedt, p 3073).

Five studies on HPV investigate ways of communicating recommended age of vaccination (Margolis, p 3077), trends in health-care providers’ vaccine recommendations in US (Domgue, p 3081), vaccine behavior of pharmacists (Koskan, p 3090), ways of promoting vaccination during the period of suspension of government recommendation in Japan (Ugumori, p 3096), and confidence in vaccination among mothers, adolescents, and HCWs (Shuto, p 3102).

We present four articles on Influenza: a report on increased demand for the seasonal vaccine among HCWs during the Covid-19 pandemic (Štěpánek, p 3113), a survey of vaccine preferences among the Chinese elderly (Jiang, p 3119), a study of the impact of vaccination on the risk of contracting Covid-19 (Bozek, p 3126), and an immunogenicity trial of the trivalent vaccine in COPD patients (Li, p 3131).

Three Public Health articles examine age-appropriate childhood vaccination practices in an Ethiopian pastoral community (Woldu Anbesu, p 3178), risk factors for vaccination delays in Bangladeshi slums (Alam, p 3186), and a novel vaccine monitoring platform for use in large-scale Ebola vaccination campaign (Mc Kenna, p 3192).

The Hepatitis segment reports on B- and T-cell receptor profiles following HBV vaccination of adults (Zhao, p 3203), predicting Hepatitis B vaccine immunogenicity in hemodialysis patients (Feng, p 3214), and bibliometric trends in hepatitis A research (Ahmad, p 3221).

Two Meningococcal studies present an antigen typing system for assessing coverage by the 4CMenB vaccine (Tozer, p 3230), and increasing awareness and uptake of the MenB vaccine among university students (Richardson, p 3239).

Finally, we are happy to feature a Technology review of unsafe injection practices (Ali Khan, p 3247).
