Abstract
This article discusses applicability of mediation as a social work practice method for youth problems by examining the relation between social work and mediation in terms of purposes, values, and the nature of the intervention processes. Study results suggest that social work can integrate mediation in its domain, and mediation has a potential to enrich the social work intervention outcomes in that mediation is utilized as a social work method.
