This paper describes a recent study on young night drifters in Hong Kong. Besides introducing their social background and night drifting situation, the identified causes of their night drifting behaviour and their service needs are shared. Then, recommendations on the development of relevant services and measures for assisting these young people are suggested. It is believed that this study has reference value for youth policy-makers and service providers in other countries.
