ABSTRACT
Specimens of the subfamily Tachininae (Diptera: tachinidae) were collected in north-western Iran during 2013–2014. A total of six species belonging to six genera were identified and reported for the first time from Iran: Brachymera rugosa (Mik), Graphogaster vestita Rondani, Gymnocheta viridis (Fallén), Linnaemya (Homoeonychia) frater (Rondani), Loewia brevifrons (Rondani) and Lydina aenea (Meigen). The collected data of all species, along with their general distribution and reported hosts are listed. The diagnostic characters of them are given.
