Deux Puces Nouvelles d'Éthiopie (Insecta: Siphonaptera)

Résumé

Deux puces prélevées sur Stenocephalemys albocaudata Frick sont nouvelles. Chiastopsylla aethiopica, n. sp. (Chimaeropsyllidae) est très originale par sa capsule céphalique et sa répartition; Ctenophthalmus (Ethioctenophthalmus) caecus, n. sp. (Ctenophthalmidae) montre un très long palpe labial et les particularités morphologiques classiques des puces de rongeurs fouisseurs: son véritable hôte est, vraisemblablement, Tachyoryctes macrocephalus (Rüppell).

Summary

Two new fleas from Ethiopia (Insecta: Siphonaptera). — Two fleas from Stenocephalemys albocaudata Frick are new. Chiastopsylla aethiopica, sp. n. (Chimaeropsyllidae) is very original by the structure of the head and its geographical repartition; Ctenophthalmus (Ethioctenophthalmus) caecus, sp. n. (Ctenophthalmidae) shows a very long labial palp and classic features of fleas from fossorial rodents: likely, the true host is Tachyoryctes macrocephalus (Rüppell).
