Description d'une nouvelle espèce africaine, Stegana plesia, sp. n., sur la base de trois spécimens récoltés au Kenya et conservés avec l'holotype de S. proximata (Séguy) dans les collections du Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle (Paris). Redescription de Stegana proximata et de S. africana Malloch et figuration des terminalia de S. proximata. La clé de détermination des sept espèces africaines du genre Stegana est donnée.
Abstract
The genus Stegana in Africa, with description of a new species (Diptera: Drosophilidae). — A new african species, Stegana plesia, sp.n., is described on the basis of three specimens collected in Kenya and housed together with the holotype of S. proximata (Séguy) in the collection of the Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle, Paris. Stegana proximata and S. africana Malloch are redescribed and the male terminalia of the former figured. An updated key to the seven African species of the genus Stegana is given.
