Abstract

The Chrysoperla Steinmann occurring in Rumania (Neuroptera: Chrysopidae). — Collections of 669 specimens of the “common green lacewing” (Chrysoperla Steinmann) were made in 17 locations in Rumania. The specimens having a quadrangular basal dilatation of tarsal claw belong to Chrysoperla carnea (Stephens) s. str., Chrysoperla kolthoffi (Navás) and Chrysoperla lucasina (Lacroix). Their proportions were found different: the dominant species was Ch. kolthoffi with 61% of the total number. The only species having a triangular basal dilatation of tarsal claw was assignated to Chrysoperla renoni (Lacroix). This green lacewing is new to the Rumanian fauna. A map of the collection places is given, and also a table of the non-genitalic characters of the seven species of Chrysoperla occurring in Europe.
