Acute isolated utricular lesion

Abstract

Since new diagnostic tools enabled us to measure all five vestibular sensors, various forms of vestibular neuritis has been described. Here the patient with unilateral acute vestibular loss due to isolated utricular lesion has been presented. Acute utricular lesion could be missed if the attention hasn't been paid to clinical signs of graviceptive lesion and could be easily confirmed with modern vestibular diagnostic tools.
