Strategic thinking on further promoting the development of the Chinese–US economic and trade relations

Pages 180-189 | Published online: 27 Jan 2014

Abstract

Through in-depth analysis of the problems of and reasons for the Sino-US economic and trade relations, this paper explores new ways and measurements to improve the Sino-US economic and trade relations. The problems of Sino-US economic and trade relations should return to economy and trade, and would be more complicated if too politicized. In the market competition, both players should understand each other. Both China and the US should consider some problems from the other side, seek common ground, enhance consensus, stand on reality, construct the future, and mutually promote the process of economic globalization.
