Elisa Gonzales

Elisa Gonzales is an Assistant Professor of Voice and Acting at UMass Amherst. She is a certified teacher of Knight-Thompson Speechwork and a certified Associate Teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework®. Elisa is an actor, voice and dialect coach, and writer with credits at theatres such the Hangar Theatre, the Phoenix Theatre Company, WAM Theatre, Breath of Fire Latina Theatre Ensemble, San Diego Repertory Theatre, and Commonwealth Shakespeare Company. Elisa is a previous contributor to The Voice and Speech Review and regularly presents her scholarship at national and international conferences. She received her MFA in theatre performance from Arizona State University.

Rachel Finley

Rachel Finley is a director, intimacy coordinator, actor, accent coach, and Arizona State University professor. She is a certified teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework and Knight Thompson Speechwork, a founding member of the Intimacy Coordinators of Color’s board of directors, and a co-founder of The Blueprint, Rachel is the Director of Programming for the Global Majority Intimacy Conference. Rachel has recently worked on productions for NYC based ANDTheatre Co, Miami based Zoetic Stage, Netflix, Xbox Studios, Baltimore Center Stage, Long Wharf Theatre, Southwest Shakespeare Company, Virginia Stage, and several indie film and theatre companies.

Sarah Nichols

Sarah Nichols (she/her/hers) is a freelance voice, accent, and communication coach with an MFA in voice studies from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She has taught at Virginia Commonwealth University, Rose Bruford College of Theatre & Performance, East 15 Acting School, and the American University in Cairo. Sarah is a Senior Editor-at-Large for the International Dialects of English Archive and an active member of the Voice and Speech Trainers Association (VASTA), having served for two years on the Junior Board. Based in Washington, DC, Sarah leads private and group sessions, both in person and online, for actors and executives.
