1. Thirty chapters (out of 34 chapters) are either country specific or comparative studies while four chapters cover general topics including introduction, the politics of WHO, state response to the pandemic (Part I), and conclusion (Part V).
2. In fact, this part has five chapters including three country case study chapters and one comparative study chapter. The last chapter is a concluding chapter which is excluded from the counting.

M. Jae Moon
M. Jae Moon is Dean and Underwood Distinguished Professor of the Department of Public Administration as well as Director of the Institute for Future Government at Yonsei University. He is an elected Fellow of National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) and served as a co-chair of the Infectious Diseases Study Group of the National Research Council of Economics, Humanities, and Social Sciences under the Prime Minister’s Office of South Korea in 2020.
