Abstract

Simon Duffy has a doctorate in moral philosophy. He is the founder and Director of the Centre for Welfare Reform in the United Kingdom and an Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the University of Birmingham's Health Service Management Centre. Previously Simon founded Inclusion Glasgow and In Control and is best known for his work on citizenship, personal budgets and self-directed support. He is currently acting as secretary to the international cooperative Citizen Network.
