NOTES ON CONTRIBUTORS

Nicolas Papadopoulos is Chancellor’s Professor of Marketing and International Business at the Sprott School of Business at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. His research focuses on international strategy and buyer responses to it and includes expansion strategy, foreign direct investment, place images and branding, and international market systems. Nicolas has more than 400 publications and presentations to his name, including over 90 book chapters and articles in such journals as Journal of International Marketing, Journal of Business Research, International Business Review, Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Macromarketing, International Marketing Review, and Africa Journal of Management. He is a member of the Senior Advisory Board or Editorial Review Board of nine journals including the Journal of International Marketing, Journal of International Business Studies, and International Marketing Review. Nicolas has been conference keynote speaker at such international events as the Multicultural Marketing Conference of the Academy of Marketing Science and the Società Italiana di Marketing, and his work has been recognized through eight Best Paper Awards, the Hans B. Thorelli Award for Long-Term Impact of the American Marketing Association, and numerous other awards and distinctions.

Charles Blankson is an Associate Professor of Marketing in the Department of Marketing, Logistics, and Operations Management, College of Business, University of North Texas, Denton, Texas. He holds a PhD from Kingston University, London, United Kingdom. His current research interests include marketing strategy – positioning and brand management, industrial marketing, small business marketing, rural and urban poverty reduction, marketing practices in Sub-Saharan Africa, and international/multicultural marketing. Charles is a member of the Editorial Review Board of Industrial Marketing Management, International Journal of Operations and Production Management, International Journal of Bank Marketing, and Journal of African Business. His research has appeared in Journal of Advertising Research, Journal of Public Policy and Marketing, Journal of Macromarketing, Journal of Business Research, Industrial Marketing Management, International Journal of Operations and Production Management, European Journal of Marketing, Thunderbird International Business Review, International Journal of Bank Marketing, Journal of African Business, and many others.
