Oxygen administration during pulmonary rehabilitation*

 

Abstract

During pulmonary rehabilitation healthcare professionals may encounter exercise-induced hypoxemia and/or clients using ambulatory oxygen. This clinical respiratory review provides information relating to the evaluation and administration of supplemental oxygen to support exercise training in the pulmonary rehabilitation setting.

Résumé

Pendant la réadaptation pulmonaire, les professionnels de la santé peuvent rencontrer de l'hypoxémie induite par l'exercice ou des clients qui ont recours á de l'oxygène ambulatoire. Cette étude clinique fournit de l'information concernant l'évaluation et l'administration d'oxygène supplémentaire pour soutenir l'entraînement physique dans le cadre de la réadaptation pulmonaire.
