Anirban K. Baishya

Anirban K. Baishya is an Assistant Professor at the Communication and Media Studies Department, Fordham University. His research interests include digital media cultures, South Asian media, Indian cinema, and media aesthetics and politics. His work has been published in the International Journal of Communication, Communication, Culture & Critique, South Asian Popular Culture and South Asia: Journal of South Asian Studies. From 2017-2019, he served as the Graduate Student Representative for the Transnational Cinemas Special Interest Group at the Society of Cinema and Media Studies.
