Abstract
In recent years, Professor Yang Guorong of the philosophy department of East China Normal University has systematically reflected on the question of “how to do philosophy,” resulting in a number of papers, books, lectures, and interviews. As philosophy becomes increasingly professionalized and sophisticated, his macro-level examinations of the discipline are much welcomed.
