Change of the Statistics of Laser Pulses Due to Two-photon Absorption

Abstract

The numerical study of the transmission of laser pulses through a two-photon absorber is given for Fourier-limited and chaotic pulses. The light statistics are investigated through a calculation of the second-order correlation function g (2) which is shown to be very sensitive to the experimental conditions.
