Working with a radical agenda the Musasa project, Zimbabwe

Pages 30-35 | Published online: 02 Jul 2010

Abstract

The Musasa Project, a Zimbabwean NGO, was set up in 1988 to deal with the problem of violence against women. This article looks at how and why the Musasa Project has adopted an increasingly radical agenda for cultural change in Zimbabwe: an agenda which challenges existing values, and represents an alternative in its own society.
