Abstract

This study investigated the validity of the factor structure of the Wide Range Assessment of Memory and Learning (WRAML) in samples of children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and reading disability, as well as a group of controls. An attention/concentration factor emerged for all 3 groups. For the ADHD group it accounted for the highest proportion of the variance. These results support the validity of an attention/concentration factor and call into question the 3 published indexes of the WRAML.
