Abstract
The purpose of this study was to develop pediatric norms on the Logical Memory (LM) I and II and Visual Reproduction (VR) I and II subtests of the Wechsler Memory Scale‐Revised (WMS‐R). Participants were 714 children ages 9 to 15 years old, who were screened for biasing neurological, behavioral, and linguistic issues. The participants’ Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children, 3rd edition Vocabulary‐ scaled scores, used as an estimate of verbal intelligence, were consistently near 10. WMS‐R results showed that scores on LM I and II and VR I and II improved with age but did not differ according to sex. Percentage recall scores did not vary according to sex. VR percentage recall scores improved with age, but LM percentage recall scores did not improve with age.
