Abstract
A four part educational series has been developed at The New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center, Westchester Division, for caregivers of persons with dementia living at home. The four consecutive sessions provide caregivers with practical solutions in home safety, activities of daily living, adaptive equipment, leisure, communication, and accessing community resources. The goal of the series is to promote effective caregiving strategies and to improve the quality of life for the person with dementia living at home.
