Abstract
An algebra is called right-symmetric, if it satisfies the identity a ˆ (b ˆ c − c ˆ b) = (a ˆ b) ˆ c − (a ˆ c) ˆ b. Right-symmetric algebras over a field of characteristic p are considered. A formula for the p-th power of a sum of two elements of right-symmetric algebras is established. The formula is similar to Jacobson formula for the p-th power of a sum of two elements of Lie algebras.
