ABSTRACT

We consider integral domains for which each nonzero ideal (or each nonzero principal ideal ) can be written as a product , where the are pairwise comaximal and have some additional property. We determine the structure of integral domains having this property in the following cases: each has prime radical; each is primary; each is the power of a prime ideal.
