Torsion in Mixed K-Groups

Pages 295-313 | Received 01 Aug 2002, Published online: 10 Oct 2011

Abstract

We define generalized Milnor K-groups known as mixed K-groups and give explicit descriptions of these groups in simple cases. Our main result is a generalization of the theorem of Bass and Tate that the Milnor K-groups (k) are uniquely divisible when k is algebraically closed and n ≥ 2.
