ABSTRACT
An ss-DNA/NG/AET/GCE electrochemical sensor was prepared with synthesized 15 mer ss-DNA probes. The electrode potential for immobilization of the probes, the electrode potential for hybridization reaction, and the reaction time for hybridization of the DNA sensor were carefully studied as significant factors affecting the sensitivity and selectivity of hybridization detection. The primary study showed that the sensor could discriminate well the 5 bases mismatch, 3 bases mismatch and 1 base mismatch at optimized conditions.
