ABSTRACT
A chiral stationary phase (CSP) was prepared by coating cellulose‐tris(3, 5‐dimethyl‐phenylcarbamate) (CDMPC) onto aminopropylated spherical gel, and used this CSP to separate the enantiomers of metalaxyl and metalaxyl intermediate successfully by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The effects of 2‐propanol concentration in mobile phase on retention and resolution were investigated, and according to this analytical method the optical purity of metalaxyl and metalaxyl intermediate was established.
