Abstract
The investigation of asphaltoresinous oligomers (ASMOL)—the product of chemical interaction of oil tar and bitumens with the oligoisoprene fraction, contained in the distillation residue of dimethylformamide (DMF) rectification distillation (waste of isoprene production)—was carried out by thermomechanical and thermogravimetrical analysis methods. The number-average molecular masses of final products and their initial components were determined. It was shown that both the separate sulfurization and condensation of the initial components in the composition as well as the interaction between them resulted in the formation of higher molecular mass products by the ASMOL reception process. Besides, the sulfuric acid performs a dual function: one, it catalyses initial oligoisoprene polymerization and their condensation with oil bitumen components (and also the concentration of neutral resins of the last one); and two, it brings about the sulfurization of the latter.
