SOLID-STATE SYNTHESIS OF NEW TYPE α,β-UNSATURATED ACYL AZO COMPOUNDS

Abstract

In this paper, seven new-typed α,β-unsaturated acyl azo compounds were prepared for the first time with good yields by dehydrogenating the corresponding acyl hydrazides in solid state. Here ferric nitrate, a cheap and readily available reagent, was used as the oxidant.
