Abstract
An efficient ultrasound-assisted epoxidation of olefins and α,β-unsaturated ketones over hydrotalcite catalysts in the presence of hydrogen peroxide and acetonitrile is described. This general and selective protocol is relatively fast and is applicable to a wide variety of substrates.
