Synthesis of Nitrogen‐Containing Chiral Calix[4]arene Crown and Semi‐crown Ether

Abstract

The first synthesis of nitrogen‐containing chiral calix[4]arene crown and semi‐crown ethers by the reaction of 25,27‐di(2‐bromoethoxy)‐26,28‐dihydroxy‐5,11,17,23‐tetrakis(1‐methylethyl)calix[4]arene with chiral α,β‐diamines or α,β‐aminoalcohols is reported.
