Abstract
The clinical profile of an intransigent case of vernal Conjunctivitis which has been monitored for two years is described. The pathogenesis of vernal conjunctivitis is reviewed to provide the background for a discussion of pharmacology of available treatment alternatives. The nature and implications of drug intervention in this case are also discussed. Vernal conjunctivitis is probably not curable; most treatments for the condition appear only to relieve sypptoms.
