1 Born in 1934. Graduated from the Leningrad State University in history and archaeology, 1958. Holder of Candidate of Science degree (in history), senior professional staff member of the Hermitage State Museum, specialized in the New Stone Age and Bronze Age archaeology of the USSR's north‐west. Curator of neolithic artefacts found in that region since 1960. Author of over sixty scientific publications.
