ABSTRACT:

Recent developments in diagnostic imaging have taken the veterinary sector into the 21st century. More practices are taking the next step forward and investing in digital radiography machines. With this in mind it is important that vets and nurses do not become complacent with the ease of use and simplicity of processing, and still strive to obtain the perfect image first time, without the need for digital modifications.

This article will discuss how to position the patient perfectly when the more advanced and less common views are needed, and suggest useful aids to have in the practice to achieve these views.
