Uniqueness To the Solution of Electromagnetic Boundary Value Problems in the Presence of Partly Lossy Chiral Media

Abstract

In this paper, we prove that the result of uniqueness of the solution of time-harmonic electromagnetic boundary value problems defined on limited regions can be extended to cases involving partly lossy chiral media. As a byproduct, a result concerning the regularity of electromagnetic fields in chiral media and the absence of resonances in cavities loaded with chiral and partly lossy dielectrics are proved.
